Everest Panorama Trek

Overview

Everest Panorama Trek 9 days is the choice for you if you’re looking for a fine short trek in the Khumbu region. The Khumbu or Everest region of Nepal is a world-famous choice for trekkers all around the world. After all, it houses the treks like Everest Base Camp Trek, Everest Three Pass Trek, Gokyo Lake Trek, and more.

All of these treks take you to altitudes above 5000m. For instance, the vantage point of Everest Base Camp is Kala Patthar (5545m). The same point for Gokyo is Gokyo Ri (5400m) and the elevations of three passes are Renjo La (5340m), Kongma La (5550m), Cho La (5420m). What’s common in these treks is the altitude and the fact that they are very challenging.

So, you might wonder ‘Is there any way to avoid these challenges and yet explore the Everest region?’ The answer is yes and the journey is Everest Panorama Trek. The main purpose of trekking to Everest Base Camp is the wonderful views of majestic peaks like Everest, Nuptse, Ama Dablam, etc. And Everest Panorama trek fulfills that purpose very well. Plus, it completes within nine days and won’t take you to overwhelming altitudes.

Thus, it’s the best trek for those who want to have glimpses of towering mountains but avoid rigorous terrain and have less time of visit. Even though the trekking experience is short, it has additional highlights like the Tengboche Monastery, Everest View Hotel, Khumjung monastery, and more. Hence, you won’t have to worry that you’ll explore anything less.

The trip begins with a short and scenic flight from the capital city to Lukla. Embarking the Tenzing Hillary Airport at Lukla is a great challenge in itself. Afterward, you will head to different villages like Phakding, Namche Bazaar, Thame, Khumjung every other day.

These destinations take you through trials of Himalayan foothills. The backdrop of the Everest range will accompany you all the time. Moreover, the path covers beautiful rivers, streams, glossy glaciers, and thick alpine forests. The whole area is pristine and full of unique flora & fauna.

After all, you will enter the Sagarmatha National Park, a UNESCO-listed World Heritage site. It’s home to animals like red panda, snow leopard, musk deer, Himalayan Thar, Himalayan bear, etc. Similarly, the vegetation includes and ranges from pine and hemlock forests with fir, juniper, birch, rhododendron, scrub, and many alpine plants.

Now, about the local people, you will meet the warmest people here. Most of the people are Sherpas and they are one of the native Tibetan ethnic groups. They have been living in such mountainous regions for centuries and know the places well. They will not only serve you but also guide & help you if needed.

Thus, you get to delve into their unique lifestyle, culture, and tradition. They also celebrate popular festivals like the Khumbu festival, Tiji, Mani Rimdu, Mitha, and more. It would be great if you’re there during these festive seasons. They will welcome you wholeheartedly and be a part of their celebration.

So, in every aspect, Everest Panorama Trek isn’t less. Rather, it’s an easier choice amongst all the treks that are available in the Everest Region. We, Nepal Eco Adventure, recommend everyone especially beginners to do this trek and enjoy a fabulous time on the lap of mountains.

Also, we might have our proposed itinerary but it’s fully flexible as per your comfort & availability. After all, we truly believe in quality service, and not any traveler should be unsatisfied after they choose Nepal Eco Adventure. So, pack your bags and get ready to explore the unexplored with us!
