Itinerary
Flight duration: 35-40 minutes
Trek duration: 3-4 hrs
Overnight: Phakding
Our staff will pick you from your pickup point. Then, you will get transferred to Tribhuvan International airport for a mountain flight to Lukla. The mountain flight early in the morning will then take you to the beautiful village settlement of Lukla. The village of Lukla is also known as the entry point of the Everest region.
This outstanding village settlement has many lodges, teahouses, and guesthouses. However, we will then trek to Phakding after resting for some time. The Phakding Trek is a beautiful adventure that gives you a glimpse of the natural diversities of the region. The trail marches through the settlements of Monjo and Jorsale.
The village settlement of Monjo is the Sagarmatha national park's entry point. You'll show your permit and then enter the beautiful landscapes of the conservation area. You will trek to uphill and challenging stony trails. The trails of this trek take you to the natural terrains, foothills, green hills, water streams, lakes, rivers, and others.
After traveling for some time, you will finally arrive at the settlement of Phakding. In Phakding, we will rest overnight and sleep in tea houses after dinner.
Trek duration: 3-4 hrs
Overnight: Namche Bazaar
On this trekking day, you will make your way from Phakding to Namche. The trail of this day's trek starts with a scenic sunrise from a viewpoint in the region. After the beautiful morning, we will have our delicious local breakfast in the teahouses. Finally, you will begin your trek at around 8 am.
The walk passes through challenging uphill terrains and stony boulders. We will cross various suspension bridges along the Dudh Koshi river trail. Other natural diversities are included along the route as well. After trekking for some time, you will finally arrive at the settlement of Namche.
Namche is a beautiful settlement with a vibrant atmosphere that you will not expect in a high-altitude place. There are various hotels, cafes, restaurants, souvenir shops, and other landmarks in the commercial town. The town was also the main trading point for trade between Nepal and China in ancient times. Finally, you will explore for some time and then rest in the Namche teahouse for the night.
Overnight: Namche
We will rise early in the stay, where you can observe the majestic Himalayan sunrise. The day is only for acclimatization and exploration in the region. on this day, the trail will pass through various hiking points near Namche. You can adapt to the high altitude while exploring the area.
The Khunde hill offers you an excellent view of the snow-capped mountains of the region. There is also a Syangboche airstrip near the area to get complete views. Trekkers can also visit the Everest view hotel, the highest placed hotel in the world, where you can have breakfast and take incredible pictures of Mount Everest.
There are other cultural exploration points as well. The sherpa museum gives you insights into the Sherpa climbing community and its cultural landscapes. There is also a Yeti skull in the museum. Besides that, you can also explore the town and observe its vibrant atmosphere. Finally, you can rest for the night in a tea house or lodge in Namche Bazaar.
Trek duration: 3-4 hrs
Overnight: Lukla
The trek on this day starts with the scenic sunrise from the guest house in Namche. Finally, you will trek through the beautiful trails before returning to the settlements in Namche.
There are challenging stony paths that you need to walk for 4-5 hours before arriving at your destination. The trails you will explore on this day are the same ones you took on your way to the top. Finally, you will arrive at Lukla and then rest for the night.
Flight duration: 35-40 minutes
On this day of the trek, you will finally fly back to the capital, the city of Kathmandu. There are Himalaya mountains that you can observe during the mountain flight. You will arrive at the airport in 35-40 minutes and get transferred to your destination.
